Max Polyakov’s father wanted him to be a photographer like him. So, he bought him a camera at the age of 6. But while Max Polyakov is in love with the camera and wants to explore the world with it, he found love with cycling at 16. This took him to tours and adventures.
Max Polyakov’s first grand tour was the one that took place in his city, Chicago, and it involved many other teenagers like him. At 16, the tour took them through the lakefront trail and the sights were amazing to behold. He enjoyed it most because the competition was not fierce. But prior to that, Max Polyakov had thought he would not do well in the tour. But, with advice from someone, he got his bottle of water, readied his bicycle and was raring to hit the road. He felt something during the course of the race. He felt tired, but never gave up, and after this, he realized he can compete favorably and do well in races.
When Max Polyakov was 18, he had taken part in 5 intercity tours and 10 in Chicago. But because he wants to cover more grounds and achieve more, he decided to join the European grand tour. He registered for the Tour De France in July with the intention of winning it. He came with seven other participants from the United States and they intended to go home with the trophy. Here, he met other cyclists and enjoyed interacting with them. However, the prize became the last thing on his mind. He valued the experience more.
After the tour, Max went on sight-seeing in places like the famous Notre Dame and Eiffel Tower. While on this, he photographed some of the locations. When he saw the potency in the pictures that his phone was not giving him, he changed the phone and captured better images with a better one.
After the French Tour, Max Polyakov made it a point of duty to capture scenes, places and moments whenever he visits any city. His passion for photograph grew and he now bought a motion camera and fitted it on his bicycle to capture places and scenes while on tour.
When Max Polyakov stopped taking part in tours at the age of 35, he tried his hands on some others things, but photography was always on his mind. For him to be a better photographer, he needed some form of training. He registered for some online course, and learnt the intricacies of the business and the skills that will propel him succeed, especially photo editing. He loves sights, buildings and nature, and he never fails to capture them. After this, Max Polyakov opened up a studio amidst huge competitions in the city of Chicago. He named the studio ‘Noosphere,’ taking into consideration his love for art and science. Max Polyakov never lacked customers. In fact they became too much for him at some point.
He moved from capturing sights, nature and buildings to capturing people, with some of them becoming his regular customers. He had clients from all over Chicago and was making good money from them. Max Polyakov also thought it wise to go digital. So, he opened up a website where he told his story.
After 3 years, a woman named Susan brought a deal to Max Polyakov. Max was reluctant to get involved. But when Susan succeeded in selling one of Max’s old pictures for $10,000, Max had to fall in line. Max and Susan sold many pictures at great prices. She encouraged him to do an exhibition and tell his story and showcase his photographs to more people. Max did that and the images were bought as soon as the exhibition started.
Max Polyakov and Susan fell in love and married each other. They kept inspiring each other and Max kept churning out great pictures. This signifies how a man moved from cycling to photography, and achieved huge success in both.
